UNINSTALL OLD COMPONENTS
 1. Open the MPS Deployment Tool.
 2. Expand "SharePoint Services Hosting."
 3. Right-click "Hosted SharePoint" and select Uninstall.
 4. Right-click "Managed SharePoint" and select Uninstall.
 5. Right-click "SharePoint Provider" and select Uninstall.
 6. Expand "MPS Web Services."
 7. Expand "Hosted SharePoint Web Service."
 8. Right-click each server listed underneath "Hosted SharePoint Web Service" and select  Uninstall.
 9. Expand "Managed SharePoint Web Service."
10. Right-click each server listed underneath "Managed SharePoint Web Service" and select  Uninstall.
11. Click "Start Deployment."
12. Wait for the "Deployment Completed" message.

UNINSTALL WSS ADMIN WEB SERVICE
 1. Logon to your WSS server (COLLAB01).
 2. Open "Add or Remove Programs" from the Control Panel.
 3. Select "MPS SharePoint Provider Web Service Build 4.0.###.##" and click "Remove."
 4. Select Yes when prompted to confirm uninstall.

COPY NEW MSI FILES
 1. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to your MSIShare directory. If you are unsure where this  is, click the File menu in the MPS Deployment Tool and choose "File Locations." Note the path  for "Installer Files."
 2. Copy the new HostedSharePoint2007NS.msi file into this location, overwriting the old file.
 3. Copy the new ManagedSharePoint2007NS.msi file into this location, overwriting the old file.
 4. Copy the new SharePointProvider.msi file into this location, overwriting the old file.
 5. Copy the new WindowsSharePointServicesWebService.msi file into this location, overwriting  the old file.
 6. Copy the new HostedSharePoint2007WS.msi file into this location, overwriting the old file.
 7. Copy the new ManagedSharePoint2007WS.msi file into this location, overwriting the old file.

INSTALL NEW COMPONENTS
 1. Open the MPS Deployment Tool.
 2. Right-click "SharePoint Services Hosting" and select "Install all in this group."
 3. Right-click "MPS Web Services" and select "Install all in this group."
 4. Click "Start Deployment."
 5. Wait for the "Deployment Completed" message.

INITIALIZE SHAREPOINT COMPONENTS
 1. Open the MPS Deployment Tool.
 2. Expand "SharePoint Services Hosting."
 3. Right-click "Initialize Hosted SharePoint" and select "Execute -> Initialize Hosted  SharePoint."
 4. Right-click "SharePoint Initialize Namespace Security" and select "Execute -> SharePoint  Initialize Namespace Security."
 5. Click "Start Deployment."
 6. Wait for the "Deployment Completed" message.

INSTALL WSS ADMIN WEB SERVICE
 1. Logon to your WSS server (COLLAB01).
 2. Run the WindowsSharePointServicesWebService.msi from your MSIShare directory.
 3. Accept all defaults to install the web service.

UPDATE EXISTING WSS SITES
 1. On the MPS Engine server, edit <installdir>:\Program Files\Microsoft  Hosting\Provisioning\Samples\ManagedSharepoint\UpdateSiteTypeGuids.xml
 2. Modify the <preferredDomainController> node on Line 7 to reflect your environment.
 3. Modify the <path> node on Line 20 to point to your Hosting OU.
 4. Save the edited file.
 5. Submit the file with provtest.

RESET IIS
1. On the Provisioning Web Service Servers, open a command prompt.
2. Type iisreset and hit enter.
